Register your interest.

The most expensive year the endpoint has ever had is already underway; the AI PC refresh, identity-first security, on-device AI risk, and turning Copilot spend into real use. Costly calls to get wrong.

EUC Nexus is one focused morning with the CIOs, CISOs, Heads of End User Computing and Digital Workplace leaders making exactly these decisions. Real deployments, honest lessons, and not a single sales pitch.

Complimentary for qualified leaders. Every registration is reviewed to keep the room senior and balanced.

Why Attend?

Every vendor has a slide that says their product solves this. None of them have to live with the decision afterwards. You do.

The endpoint refresh happening right now will set how your organisation works for the next decade. Most leaders are making that call with a vendor’s deck and nothing to check it against.

EUC Nexus is the room where you check it against people who have actually done it, or are doing it.

No product pitches. No theatre. Just CIOs, Heads of End User Computing and Digital Workplace leaders comparing notes on the decisions in front of all of them right now: the AI PC refresh, identity as the new perimeter, on-device AI risk, and turning Copilot licences into adoption people actually use.

This is a gathering to discuss real deployment; the messy middle left in, the numbers you can take to a board, the parts nobody puts in a case study. If it won’t help you make a better decision, it’s not on the agenda.

Walk out knowing what your peers are actually doing. Not what a vendor wants you to buy.

Welcome Note: RK, CEO, Nexus42

A short welcome to set the tone for the morning. Why this room, why now, and what everyone walks out with.

The endpoint has quietly become the most contested ground in the enterprise. It is where the refresh, the AI rollout, the security boundary and the budget fight all land at once. This morning is about making sense of that, together, with the people actually doing it.

10:10 AM - 10:40 AM

Opening Keynote: The Scale or Fail Year for the Endpoint
RK, CEO, Nexus42

2026 is the year EUC stops being invisible. Windows 10 is gone. The fleet refresh is on, and the machines being bought right now are AI PCs that lock in the next decade of work. Choose badly, and you refresh again in two years.

The Microsoft 365 Copilot app began rolling out to eligible business machines in June, whether teams were ready or not. But the app arriving and the value arriving are two different events. Fewer than 4 in 100 businesses paying for Microsoft 365 have a paid Copilot seat in active use.

From 1 July, Copilot stops being a promo add-on and becomes a permanent line on the bill. The icon is on the desktop. The outcome is not. That gap is the whole story.

This keynote frames the forces colliding this year. The once-in-a-decade AI PC refresh.

On-device AI is moving data and risk onto the machine. The pressure to turn Copilot licences into real adoption. The shift to identity as the perimeter, not the network. And the hard new reality that endpoint risk is a financial and legal number the board is already reading, not an IT line item. The job has changed. The expectations on EUC leaders have changed with it. Everything that follows this morning maps to these forces.

10:40 AM - 11:10 AM

Solution Partner Panel: The Identity-First, AI-Ready Endpoint

The build side of the modern endpoint, from the people supplying the silicon, the devices, the identity layer and the platforms the next fleet will run on. Three questions, gone deep, then the floor.

The AI PC refresh is a once-in-a-decade buying decision, and VDI and DaaS are being rethought after the Omnissa split and Broadcom licensing changes. How should a leader choose now so they are not back here in two years?

Identity is the new perimeter, not an upgrade. What does identity-first actually look like on a 200-plus seat fleet, and what has to be true before any device can be trusted?

On-device AI moves data and risk onto the machine. The device is now the security boundary. What has to be controlled when the model runs locally, and where does EUC end and security begin?

11:10 AM - 11:30 AM

Morning Tea

11:30 AM - 12:00 PM

Demonstration: The Self-Healing, Self-Driving Workspace
Services Partner

A live look at where endpoint operations are actually heading. Device management, security, virtual desktops and employee experience on one platform that configures, detects and fixes itself, with the service desk increasingly run by agents rather than people.

The focus is practical and forward. What this looks like on a real fleet today. What changes when agents start doing the work, and the new question nobody has fully answered yet: how do you govern an agent like you govern an identity? And the one that matters most to this room, where the cost actually comes out. This is the platform behind the rollout you will hear told end-to-end in the final session.

12:00 PM - 12:30 PM

Customer Panel: From Licences to Outcomes. What Rollout Actually Looks Like

The practitioner view, from leaders living this inside their own organisations. Less theory, more reality. What worked, what did not, and what they would do differently. Three questions, gone deep, then the floor.

Almost everyone bought Copilot. Almost no one has rolled it out. The licence gets bought, the icon appears, nobody trains on it, and six months later the seats sit idle. What does it actually take to move from pilot to everyday use, and what is really blocking it?

Digital employee experience is becoming a number you can take to the board. How are you measuring experience, and is anyone upstairs actually listening?

One size fits all is over. How are you splitting tooling and rollout across knowledge workers, frontline staff and regulated teams, without paying three times for it and without losing the data sovereignty argument?

12:30 PM - 1:00 PM

The Walk Through: One Rollout, Start to Finish, Nothing Cut
Customer-Led

Most sessions tell you what is possible. This one tells you what is real. We take a single EUC rollout and tell the whole story, start to finish, led by the customer who lived it. Not the brochure version. The version with the messy middle left in. Because the only question that matters in this room is a simple one. Could this work for us?

The ‘before’ state. Where they started, what was broken, and the trigger that forced the decision.

The decision. What they chose, what else was on the table, and what made this one fit.

The delivery. How the rollout actually ran. The phases, the timeline, and the moment it nearly came off the rails.

The result. What changed, in numbers, a leader can take to a board, and what their people can now do that they could not before?

The honest bit. What they would do differently, and the one piece of advice for everyone about to start the same journey.

Lunch & Networking

Partners Selected for Relevance. Not Budget.

At most events, the partners on stage are the ones who paid the most. Every leader can feel it. The agenda is really a seating chart for whoever contributed the largest sponsorship.

Not at a Nexus42 event.

No partner can buy their way onto our agenda. They earn their place by being relevant to a decision you are actually facing right now; the AI PC refresh, identity-first security, on-device AI risk, virtual desktop and DaaS strategy, Copilot adoption, and the shift to a self-healing, agent-run workspace.

If the expertise of the partner does not map to a problem in the room, the partner does not make their way on to the agenda.

The partners who make it are brought in early, as subject-matter contributors to the agenda, not logos on a sponsor wall. Their knowledge is aimed at the problems you actually have, not the ones a product happens to solve. They are here to help you make a better call and build a relationship worth having. Not to close you on the day.

You will feel the difference in the first ten minutes.

FAQs

EUC Nexus is an invitation-only event for the senior technology leaders shaping end user computing across Australia; the CIOs, Heads of End User Computing, Digital Workplace and Infrastructure leaders making this year’s biggest endpoint decisions.

EUC Nexus is produced by Nexus42.

Nexus42 is a 100% Australian owned independent research, advisory and events company built on this idea:

“Leaders who invest in learning from peers and subject matter experts make better decisions. Better decisions lead to a better Australia today and a Brighter Australia tomorrow”.

End User Computing Nexus is designed for CIOs, Heads of End User Computing, Digital Workplace Leaders, IT Infrastructure Leaders, IT Operations Leaders and other senior technology professionals responsible for endpoint strategy and the modern workplace. If you are making decisions that will shape your organisation’s technology environment over the coming years, this event is designed for you.

For most of its history, end user computing was treated as maintenance: keep the fleet patched, the desktops running, the tickets closed. That has changed. Windows 10 support has ended, and the machines organisations are buying to replace it are AI PCs that will shape how work is done for the next decade. At the same time, Copilot is arriving on every eligible device, identity has replaced the network as the security boundary, and endpoint risk now reaches the board as a financial and legal exposure rather than an IT cost line. The decisions being made this year are strategic, expensive and hard to reverse. That is what EUC Nexus wishes to address.

No, and the agenda is built to make it impossible. Every session is designed around a decision the leaders in the room are actually facing, not a product a vendor wants to sell. Where partners take part, they do so as practitioners, sharing what worked, what failed and what they would do differently, not as presenters running a deck. The test for any session is simple: if it doesn’t help you make a better decision, it isn’t on the agenda.

EUC Nexus is produced by Nexus42. The agenda is set by us, not by the sponsors. Partners are invited because their expertise maps to a decision on the table, and no partner can buy a speaking slot or influence the running order. Relevance to the room, not budget, decides who takes part.

A senior, deliberately balanced room. Attendance is limited to leaders who own endpoint, workplace, infrastructure or security strategy inside Australian organisations of 100 plus seats: CIOs, Heads of End User Computing, Digital Workplace, IT Infrastructure and their direct equivalents. Registrations are reviewed so the room stays weighted toward practitioners making these decisions, not filled with vendors. You will be among peers solving the same problems at the same scale.

Three things. The specific, unvarnished detail of how your peers are handling the decisions in front of you, including what worked and what didn’t. A set of relationships with leaders at comparable organisations that outlast the morning. And the post-event insight report: a confidential summary of the day’s themes and peer perspectives, distributed only to those who attended, with no comment attributed to any individual.

Yes. End User Computing Nexus will include some real-world implementation rather than just theoretical sessions. Sessions will include customer discussions, technology demonstrations and an end-to-end rollout walkthrough, giving attendees practical insights into how organisations are approaching AI, endpoint strategy, identity and digital workplace transformation.

Nothing beyond showing up. Sessions are led by named speakers and selected practitioners. You are under no obligation to present, speak or share anything you would rather keep in-house. The discussion is richer when people contribute, and there is room to, but participation is an invitation, never a requirement.

On the condition that they register in their own right. Please note that the room is curated. Each place is reviewed individually rather than transferred, so a colleague is welcome to apply and we will confirm their place the same way we confirm yours. If you would like to attend as a small group from one organisation, tell us and we will advise.

EUC Nexus is complimentary for qualified technology leaders. Registrations are reviewed to keep the mix of roles and seniority right, so a place is confirmed rather than assumed. Once yours is approved, you will receive confirmation with the full details.

The programme runs from 9:30 AM, with the formal sessions wrapping by 1:00 PM and lunch and networking through to 2:00 PM.

Morning tea and lunch are provided.

Tell us and we will take care of it. Note anything in the registration form or contact us after you register, and we will confirm arrangements ahead of the day. The venue is fully accessible.

Note on editorial integrity

We will be completely candid about how Nexus42 works.

EUC Nexus has commercial relationships with its partners. The sponsorship from our partners helps make the event possible. We do not pretend otherwise. What that money does not buy … is the agenda.

Our Head of Programs and Content, RK, decides who speaks, what is discussed, and which sessions make the cut, on a single test:

Does it help the leaders in this room make a better decision?

Our organisational mission is to enable better decision making across Australian organisations. This test enables our mission.

The partners are in the room because their expertise is genuinely relevant to enabling better decision making, and never because of what (or how much) they spend.

A partner’s support does not get them a script, a sales slot, or a say in the running order. If a session cannot earn its place on merit, it does not run.

That line between funding and content is the entire reason this room is worth your time.
